You can experience this diversity and partly also the individuality yourselves on the bird watching tours and under the professional guidance in the nature reserve Neudensteiner Au, Sablatnigmoor, Dravograd lake and in the area of Motschula stream. Breakfast. After breakfast our day will start in the southern Austrian Carinthia. A bus journey will lead us in a direction of the river Drava to the wharf. After a short drive with a boat we will arrive to the national reserve Neudensteiner Au. An experienced guide will lead the group along the Völkermarkter See to the observatory for water and wild animals. After an hour and a half walk we will return to the wharf with a boat, where a snack with regional specialties will await us. We will continue with a bus journey to the marsh Sablatnigmoor. During the 2 hours conducted tour we will learn about the secrets of the marsh. Sablatnigmoor offers a shelter for many water animals and birds of prey and our guide, Thomas Schneditz, will try to unveil them for you. Return to the hotel, dinner.
Breakfast. Today you will experience the nature on both sides of the border. In the morning we will go to Slovenia, to Dravograd. Under the professional guidance we will explore the marshy area with some rare plants and animals. At noon you can decide for lunch in one of the Dravograd’s restaurants. Later we will return over the border to the municipality Neuhaus, where we will observe the birds and explore the area around Pudlach. Return to the hotel, dinner.
