Underground wonders of Postojna cave and the alpine beauty of Lake Bled

After breakfast, departure to Postojna, to the mysterious Karst lands.

We will make a photo stop in front of the Predjama Castle, which has been hidden in the embrace of the rock for more than 800 years, a real medieval miracle. Its uniqueness makes it one of the 10 most fascinating castles in the world due to its location and beauty. It has been casted in many films, recently in the series Witcher.

 Then we drive to Postojna Cave. You will go on an unforgettable underground train ride with your guide to Postojna Cave and experience a mighty underground paradise. With its 24 km of tunnels, galleries, and magnificent halls, it is one of the most diverse cave systems in the world. The karst cave will impress you with its grandeur and the beauty of the stalactites, and you will see for yourself the existence of a baby dragon - the human fish. After you come out of the depths, there will be free time for lunch, coffee or to buy souvenirs.

Then we drive towards one of the most recognizable places in Slovenia, Bled. The image of the island with the church fascinates every visitor and you will have the feeling that you have arrived in an Alpine paradise. We will climb to the castle that stands on a steep rock above the emerald lake. A wonderful view of the lake with the island and the surrounding mountains will open before you. With the view, you can enjoy a good coffee and a traditional dessert from Bled, kremšnita.

If you want to, you can go on a ride on the traditional boat to the little in the middle of the lake and visit the church. They say if you ring the church bell inside, that every wish comes true. And surrounded by white mountains and green hills, you will have a feeling as if this is already the case.

Drive back to the accommodation where we arrive in the evening.
